Vehicle was 18 months old, manufactured in july 2017, issue arose is december 2019. The power steering went out. We were told it was due to a corroded positive battery cable. We bought a warranty but the repairs were not covered by the warranty because it is considered a "maintenance issue." the repairs cost about $1,000.

At times when making a left turn the left front wheel locks up in the turning position for several seconds and trying to steer out of the left turn is impossible until the wheel releases on it's own. Vehicle is in motion at the time of all incidents, on city streets, in parking lots, driveways. Reason unknown.

Following computer issues that caused the following: bad steering sensor (play in the steering), traction control warning, hill decent warning, running boards not working, ford sync freezing: radio, temp, back up cameras, phone not working. Monitor turns off and on while driving. Monitor will not turn off when car parked.

My vehicle has been in jerry's ford in alexandria, va for over 2 weeks this time. Over a month all together over the last 3 months. I can't get them to give me a similar vehicle as loaner or tell me when my car will be fixed. I can't get a manager from ford to call me back.

Steering wheel is extremely loose and is almost detachable from steering column while in motion. The steering wheel can freely move up, down and side to side even when vehicle is in stationary and not turned off. Concerned about steering wheel fully detaching while driving which could potentially cause collision and/or death.

The shift linkage from the steering column to the transmission will not work due to several kinks in the cable. I cant get the keys out of the ignition due to this nor can i even drive my vehicles because it wont ho into gear. I was on my way home stopping at a store when this occurred.
