    Electrical System · Steering

Vehicle was 18 months old, manufactured in july 2017, issue arose is december 2019. The power steering went out. We were told it was due to a corroded positive battery cable. We bought a warranty but the repairs were not covered by the warranty because it is considered a "maintenance issue." the repairs cost about $1,000.

    Steering · Unknown Or Other

At times when making a left turn the left front wheel locks up in the turning position for several seconds and trying to steer out of the left turn is impossible until the wheel releases on it's own. Vehicle is in motion at the time of all incidents, on city streets, in parking lots, driveways. Reason unknown.

The steering wheel can freely move up, down and side to side even when vehicle is in stationary and not turned off. Concerned about steering wheel fully detaching while driving which could potentially cause collision and/or death.
