My truck was purchased new and i have recently had more fuel gas waste quickly in the past year. I recently had the fuel line changed in june 2017 because a spark plug burnt out and caused it to have a leak that was dangerously close to the gas tank. The vehicle would not start. After diagnosis we found the fuel pump which in located inside the fuel tank had burned and melted at the wire connectors. Had the fuel been lower and the wires exposed the fumes would have exploded. This is a very dangerous and a recall should be issued before someone dies from a fire. The fuel tank is also located directly under the left side seats.
